Privacy Policy

This is a personal blog run by Mayank Pokharna. It collects as little as it can. Nothing here is sold, rented, or shared for advertising.
What is collected, and only when you offer it
- Contact form — your name, email address and message, so I can reply. Sent to my inbox through Web3Forms; not added to any mailing list.
- Newsletter — your email address, passed to Substack to subscribe you. You can unsubscribe from any email, at any time.
- Analytics — if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records anonymised, aggregate usage: which pages get read, roughly where readers are, what device they use. IP anonymisation is switched on. It is never used to identify you, and the site works exactly the same if you decline.
Cookies
No cookies are set until you choose. Declining stores a single local preference in your browser so you are not asked again; that preference never leaves your device. Accepting additionally loads Google Analytics and its cookies. You can change your mind at any time from the button at the bottom of this page.

How long it is kept
Contact messages stay in my inbox until they are no longer useful. Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe. Analytics data expires on Google's standard retention schedule.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. If you are in the EU, UK, or another region with equivalent law, those rights are statutory and include the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Email mayank@everythingcoliving.com and I will action it — no forms, no conditions.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
